Which is cheapest for an Indian company?

Gemini is cheapest per user if you already pay for Google Workspace. Starter is Rs 270 and Standard is Rs 1,080 per user per month, excluding tax. ChatGPT Business and Claude Team list at $20 per user per month on annual billing. Claude Team in rupees starts at Rs 2,399 including GST.

Do these tools train on my company's data?

On the business plans, the three companies say they do not train on your data by default. This does not apply to free or personal accounts. Staff on personal accounts can send company data into training if they leave the setting on.

Is my data stored in India?

Not confirmed on any team plan. OpenAI lists India for ChatGPT Enterprise and Edu. Anthropic offers India processing through Amazon Bedrock. Google's data region page lists the United States and Europe. Ask each vendor in writing if this matters for your contracts.

Can I switch tools later?

Yes. Chats and files do not move over on their own, so keep your key prompts and documents in your own storage. Plan to run two tools side by side for a month.

What should we do before giving staff access?
